Around this time of the year, it is no strange that we have rains everyday up to February or even March… although we are not having a White Christmas, it’s been A sunny day Christmas which is far better than the wet Christmas. Speaking of a wet Christmas, my little thought this peaceful Saturday brought me some memory of cold Christmas in London wheren I happened to spend my Christmas and the New year eve in that particular year at Royal Horseguard by the Thames. It’s hard to believe how fast time flies. It was severely cold that the air I was breathing was instantly frozen..well, that was how I almost felt ..as someone who had’t spent or hadn’t traveled to anywhere else, and not experiencing the white Christmas for a number of consecutive years at that time, but always right here in Sunshine California. However..I miss England’s chilly winter…especially..in the beautiful countryside.
Why do we celebrate Christmas holidays every year? It’s not really a holiday for Christmas trees, gifts and great meals but to celebrate the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came down from Heaven in the human form. It’s this special time to show our gratitude to God who loves us so much that He gave His only Son to be our Brother, Friend, and The Lord to raise the station of our life to the highest possible level. He has left us a heritage for all eternity.
When we take time enough to think about this deeply, it’s really awesome – something that our human mind can’t comprehend fully. The feeling of awesomeness cannot be expressed in our human words. Love You, Abba. Love you, Yeshua. In this quiet moment, thinking about You and what You have done in my life, as well as my loved ones, and meditating on Your Word. This is how much I can say and describe my sense of gratitude and feelings. You are an Awesome God that must be highly reverenced, glorified and praised for Your Highest sovereignty. Big Holy hugs and kisses, Dad.
PS Through Your Word, thanks for letting us call You..even to be our Dad, as our Father. I make it short today, as my ZAGG keyboard to iPad broke a week ago, so it’s very difficult to continually type my feeling and love for You. As I am writing this, yes, I am fully aware that my/our love for You did/do not start with us, but always in response to Your initiation of Love for us. It is so very awesome to think about, Dad. With much love.
