TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up” (Proverbs 12:25, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel Osteen (4/4/13)

When you see someone who is struggling, a co-worker who is discouraged, a friend who is not up to par, how do you respond? Our words can be what keeps a person going; our compliments can put a spring back into their step. Now more than ever, we need to automatically let the encouragement flow. We need to tell others how much we love them, how we value them, and tell them that they are talented and creative. Always remember, with your words you carry life-giving water. You carry hope, healing, encouragement and new beginnings, and you can pour it out everywhere you go.    Today, choose to speak encouragement. Choose to speak victory and faith. Instead of telling people what they’re doing wrong, instead of pointing out all their faults, find what they are doing right. Only insecure people do that. Focus on the good. There are already enough critical, judgmental people in the world. Let’s be people who lift up others and restore them. Let’s be the light of Jesus in the world.

“Only the insecure strive for security.”
~ Wayne Dyer

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for speaking through me. Thank You for using me to be a blessing to others. Thank You for encouraging my heart as I find ways to encourage the people around me. I love You and bless Your holy Name. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. — Joel Osteen

Thank you, Abba, for this moment that I am taking a break from work. A nice snack and coffee. Nice brief read by J.Osteen. Need to drive back to the office very soon. I never forget your presence and what that means to me. Thanks for reminding me. You’re God who sees all things in such details behind the scene of life that without a shadow of the doubt, I am where I am meant to be now, and I will be where I will be where You will be, just as You are where You are with me right now, in me, and through me doing what was predestined to take place that I may grow more intok your fullness day by day and that I may do thy work in more effective ways using my past experiences – both good and bad (some are through the prince of the air, but you allow, and some are through you, knowing that you can put all the pieces to work together for good at your perfect time)

Thank you for trying to bring me up to a higher place than yesterday and learn of your wisdom jand waking me up to be able to see the world with a different eye and helping me appreciate what I have which I have taken for granted with no appreciation before. Thank you for all my precious good friends. You truly are God who says I am I AM. Help me continue to grow and to extend myself to those in need through prayers and gifts. Love You, Abba. Big hug. Love. PS Sushi nite after work!

This blog is my personal journal, thus was initially intended for myself. Whoever happens to come across my post is certainly welcomed to read it, though I'm unsure if it would inspire you. It does for me, as it's for me. I sometimes read back what I wrote and help motivate myself in my spiritual walk. I enjoy my everyday life. Blessed with many good quality friends and my great musical and artistic talents. I am naturally a happy smiley person, especially when I am surrounded by likeminded people whose value system is similar to mine. I also enjoy meeting new people who help me move out of my comfort zone to continually grow. I prefer people who are naturally honest and transparent with a sense of good integrity. I've been enjoying my life more and more especially for the past half year. Hope this season is bringing you lots of special and blessed moments filled with joy and many laughter. Thanks for visiting my new wordpress blog page today. Have a wonderful day! May God bless you. 😊🌅 - About 'Me'
